As the sun set into a warm, orange blob on Friday, spectators and planes both cast long shadows across the runways in Salinas.
Young fans talked excitedly about the giant robot dinosaur who breathed fire and crushed cars in its teeth. Other kids were blown away by memories of the giant Wall of Fire to finish off Friday night. T-shirts and flags were adorned with famous military air crafts and helicopters as stunt planes zoomed overhead.
Performances in the evening sky included parachutists, stunt pliots and the fan-favorite Robosaurus.
