Salinas police arrest four in homicide of 15-year-old boy

Salinas police Saturday arrested four suspects connected with the homicide of a 15-year-old boy, who was gunned Thursday afternoon.

Jose Manuel Perez was shot and killed on the 500 block of Terrace Street, marking the seventh slaying in an 11-day span and the 21st homicide of the year.

After a two-day investigation, police say they arrested Antonio Gayoso, 19, Juan Pablo Nunez, 19, Julio Luna Montoya, 21, and a 17-year-old male juvenile on suspicion of first degree murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and participation in criminal gang activity.
