Follow-up: What subject proved worthless?
KERA TORRENCE | Student | Marina
A: English. It’s useful when you’re trying to use it properly. Especially when you’re one of the only people who tries to use correct grammar online.
Broken Trig: Geometry. When exactly are you going to use the cosine of x to get y?
LARRY OMOTO | Graphic Designer | Monterey
A: Art. I’m a professional graphic designer so I use it every day. I’m also a fine artist so I use it in life.
No Habla: Spanish. I took it for three years, but I really don’t use it all. I wish I did, though.
SARA DEAL | Intern | Salinas
A: Computers and technology. Everything I do now is on computers, especially as an intern. Nowadays, you have to be tech savvy to survive.
Theoretical Theorems: Calculus. It’s really not relevant to the field of psychology I’m studying.
