Do you think trading Viagra to Afghani warlords for information about the Taliban is wise?

Asked at Alfredo’s Cantina in Monterey.

Follow-up: I say sex, you say what?

MICHAEL MCKINLEY | Musician | Monterey

A: No. First of all, this question sounds like a joke. It’s not a joke. With the oppression and sexual violation that Afghani women endure, [Viagra] can be used for violence and rape, further subjecting them to brutal submission.

Touching Thought: Love.

DEBBIE TRULSON |Hairdresser | Seaside

A: No. It’s ridiculous. Are they sex deprived? Do they even know what Viagra is? I don’t understand why they would make a trade. The CIA should come up with something better.

On the Pill: Viagra.

SAM MONROE | Educator | San Francisco

A: Yes. I think it’s fantastic. The CIA is using soft tactics for hard answers. I wonder what Leon Panetta will do about it though. He’s probably going to hate this and clean up shop.

Softer Side: Satin.
