The Butterfly Criterium bike race returns to Pacific Grove.

Road racers got a chance to hit the streets of Pacific Grove during Sunday's Butterfly Criterium with the return of this short-track road race that made it's debut in 1970s, but stopped for many years until this year.
Ghost Tree Racing hosted the day-long event with local sponsers and race classes for all ages, including a one-lap kids race.
The racetrack consisted of many laps around two city blocks in Pacific Grove with the start/finish line on Lighthouse between Fountain and Congress.
