Seaside Shooting
Drive-by hospitalizes 19-year-old male.

Last Saturday night a 19-year-old male was shot in the upper chest/shoulder area, the victim of an apparent drive-by shooting, according to Seaside police.
SSPD officers responded to the 1400 block of Kenneth Street shortly after 7pm. "The shots were fired by a suspect from a moving vehicle," SSPD Deputy Chief Judy Stradan reports. "The shooting appears to be gang-related."
The victim was hospitalized and later released.
The incident comes just one month after a fatal shooting on Luxton Street, one block east of Kenneth.
