A pre-dawn apartment fire at 2000 David Avenue in Monterey drove 25 to 30 residents from their homes on Wednesday, according to a press release from the City of Monterey.
No one was injured in the blaze. The city calls the origin of the fire "suspicious" and the Monterey Police and Fire Departments are investigating.
