A shooting occurs at the south end of Seaside.

Thursday, Feb. 25, sometime before 9:45pm, a shooting was reported at the corner of Francis and Tierra in Seaside, one block from Fremont Boulevard.
Sgt. Bruno Diaz, on the scene with about a dozen Seaside police detectives, said that not much was known yet, but that more information would be available in the morning.
He was able to confirm that there were several shell cases on the street, one person was taken to the hospital (injuries unknown), and that there were no fatalities.
Detectives gave considerable attention to a particular house that had a child's pink scooter in the front yard.
