Cowboys take hard spills on bulls and horses Friday night at the California Rodeo Salinas.

One thing is for sure: there is no easy way off one of these animals.

Cowboys get tossed and thrown during the wild rides on bucking bulls and horses. It is just how the sport goes, but if all goes well, they are winners and walk off smiling, sometimes missing teeth.
