11am Arena Slack | During this time, competitors who are not scheduled during the regular rodeo times will compete in steer wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing and team roping.
11:30am Hall of Fame Induction | The induction will honor 11 nominees – cowboys, performers, contract personnel, and volunteers – who will be recognized for their contributions to the rodeo.
3pm Mini Parade – E. Alisal Street | Community members host a parade on E. Alisal Street in Salinas.
4pm Gates Open
5pm Kids Corral & Teen Lounge Open | The corral and lounge feature events and activities such as face painting and a petting zoo for kids and video games for teens in an area off the midway.
6pm Grand Entry & Rodeo | Expect a pageant of flags, special guests, and a giant boot – among other attractions – to open the Rodeo for the night.

4:30pm Stick Horse Race-track | Kids have a chance to take their own tour of the race track – not on real horses, but with stick-horses.

10am Heritage Museum Opens | The Heritage Museum celebrates the centennial of the California Rodeo, including a hundred years of rodeo memorabilia and a Wells Fargo wagon.
11am Kids Corral & Teen Lounge Open | [see above]
11:30am Horse Parade, Downtown | The California Rodeo traditional horse parade leads from downtown Salinas to the gates of the complex to join the Grand Entry.
12pm Special Buckaroos Rodeo | The SBR gives 25 special needs children the chance to meet cowboys and experience the rodeo first-hand with the help of pros.
1:15pm Grand Entry & Rodeo | [same schedule as Thursday]
7pm Centennial Rodeo Music Stampede at the Salinas Municipal Stadium | Country legend Dwight Yoakam performs. Doors open at 6pm, and concert begins at 7pm. $22 general admission, $47 VIP.
