Wednesday, June 2, 2010
Louie and The Lovers' music has been called a "Salinas Valley Boy version of Creedence Clearwater Revival infused with a pinch of tex-mex Big Star." The largely undiscovered Prunedale band, which started recording as a high school band in 1970, was recently featured on NPR for the release of Louie and The Lovers: The Complete Recordings.
