Follow-up: What are you crazy about?
JIM HENNING | Canvasser | Santa Cruz
A: I took a roundabout way of discovering music in order to go to composition school. I look up to people like John Williams and John Murphy in the way that they compose for media or film.
Follow-up: Ending child poverty.
JAEN DELAPAZ | Volunteer | Marina
A: I’m only 90 years old and haven’t finished my life yet. I can thank where I am today – volunteering at places such as [Monterey’s] The Museum Store – to [my passion for] artifacts of World War II.
Follow-up: My grandchildren.
JOHN FARO | Semi-Retired | Salinas
A: Recently the story of my life is that I am very involved in street cars and raising my grandkids. I like to put my two old and restored cars into local shows.
Follow-up: Cars and fixing stuff with people are two of the things I am crazy about.
