Street Talk 01-13-11 (asked @ Munras Ave., Monterey)

What is one thing you are most prone to hoard?

Follow-up: What is one thing you wish you had more of?

OSCAR GUTIERREZ | Assistant Manager | Marina

A: I have about 20 to 25 old and new bottles of cologne. I’m weird about throwing them away because I’ve spent so much money on them.

Young Love: I wish I had more time to live in love.

AZENITH SMITH | Reporter | Salinas

A: Cards. I have a lot of Christmas, thank-you, and birthday cards stored in multiple drawers. They mean something to me; memories I don’t want to throw away.

Busy Bee: I wish I had more free time. I’d volunteer more if I had more time.

DAVERLE GIL | Property Manager | Santa Cruz

A: I don’t hoard, I’m the opposite, actually. I’m a caregiver and I’ve seen hoarding, so it gave me an aversion. I like to live day to day. I believe in simplicity.

Family First: Time with my family. I wish I had more time to spend with my two grandchildren.
