Q: What do you have trouble throwing away?

Street Talk 06.06.11 (asked @ CVS in North Monterey.
)

What do you have trouble throwing away?

Follow-up: What is your most wasteful habit?

JANET VASQUEZ | Waitress | Seaside

A: I have a lot of pens and pencils from work. I have drawers full of them, and most don’t work.

What’s Popping: Cans of soda. I open up a can and forget about it and it goes to waste. I also love the Dollar Tree.

SAM MCCOY | Grad Student | MIIS

A: I’m pretty minimalist. I’d have to say books. I do keep a lot of books around, and my wife gets on me about it.

Pay It Forward: I still get all my bills in the mail, but I know I should be conserving those trees.

CRISTINA THOMAS | Student | CSUMB

A: It’s hard to get rid of photos and trinkets that have sentimental value.

Stalemate: Leftovers. I never finish all my food at the restaurants so I take it home, but it just sits in the the fridge and goes to waste. I feel bad.
