What do you want to find about your family history?

Follow-up: What legacy do you hope to pass down?

MIKE CUTINO | Student | Monterey

A: There’s a guy named Burt Cutino in Monterey and I’d love to meet him and see if we’re related. I imagine at some point we are, but it’s hard to say.

Groovy Improving: Just understanding the notion of leaving the world a better place.

KATHY DOYLE | High-tech finance | Mountain View

A: My mother’s maiden name is Lincoln. We’re either related to the president or a horse thief. We always laughed and leaned toward the horse thief.

Up and Away: The spirit of adventure. I sailed from Honolulu on a 36-foot boat.

RICHARD TAYLOR | Service Manager | Salinas

A: I’d like to learn a little bit more about the history of my dad’s side. He left Mississippi at the age of 17 for the military.

Everybody In: Because we’re a mixture, everybody’s the same. It’s more about your heritage and what your life was about, not where you’re from.
