Q: What is the best unanticipated benefit of riding the bus? Quincy Venter

Street Talk 09.22.11 (asked @ Edgewater Transit Exchange in Sand City.)

What is the best unanticipated benefit of riding the bus?

Follow-up: If you could create your own route what would it be?

DARREL GAINES | Student | Seaside

A: Sightseeing. It’s always interesting to look around at whatever is outside.

To the Stars: I want a bus to go from my house on Noche Buena right to the Office Star Training Facility.

BETH BARRELL | Sign-Holder | Seaside

A: You get to relax. And I like to people-watch at bus stops and listen to music on the bus.

Land Cruzing: I want a bus to go from Sand City straight to Santa Cruz with no stops.

JESUS MANZANAREZ ALCARAZ | Cook | Marina

A: The bus has no benefits. It takes a lot of time and takes more money away each year.

Short Cut: I like the Seaside to Salinas route but I think they should cut the price by half.
