Q: What would you put in a time capsule?

Street Talk 08.23.12 (asked @London Bridge Pub in Monterey.)

What would you put in a time capsule?

Follow-up: What will people remember about us a century from now?

JESSICA ONKEN | Server | Monterey

A: An iPhone or and iPod. Some of the books that are popular right now like Twilight or Fifty Shades of Gray. Something from the Olympics. I’m a Phelps fan. He’s sexy.

Get Loud: Music. Music now is borrowed from the past. I listen to a lot of old stuff.

JASON GENT | Electrician | Moss Landing

A: A beer can. Kidding. Photos. Lots and lots. Photos of my family. Of people I’ve met. Of things I’ve done. They say the most.

Head-Case: Cell phones. Who know what they’ll do in the future. Cell phones will probably be chips implanted in our heads.

MERI LOU | Clerk | Marina

A: Valuable things. Money, jewelery. My family is valuable but you can’t put your family in a time capsule. I don’t have much of value.

A Social Affair: Facebook and social media. Everything is done on a cellphone.
