Follow-up: What breakthrough do you want to see in 2013?
YOLANDE WHITLOCK | Retired | Salinas
A: Upward mobility is still possible in the United States, and I’m a bootstrap example of success.
Call to Heal: I’m in favor of universal healthcare, so to me, that would be a major breakthrough to help the world.
JANET KANSTRUP | Retired | Salinas
A: I zigged instead of zagged.
Forget Me Not: Cure Alzheimer’s. It’s a devastating and cruel disease.
SANDRA ARLEDGE | Wife/Mother I Seaside
A: A happy wife and mother.
Striking Hunger: Poverty. My husband is in the military and everywhere we’ve lived there are people who are homeless or struggling to get the bare essentials. We have to solve that before anything else.
