REMEMBERING JOEY LASNIK | SALINAS – This memorial honors longtime community activist Joanne “Joey” Lasnik, who died Jan. 4. Her leadership efforts included becoming the first woman foreman of the county Grand Jury and four terms as an elected Hartnell College trustee. She served on the county Commission on the Status of Women, Area Agency on Aging advisory council, county Economic Development Commission, Salinas chapter of the NAACP and Fort Ord Task Force, among others. 4pm.
