Follow-up: What sort of preparation would you need for a marathon?
CARLY BETHUNE | Sales Rep | San Jose
A: The triple-jump. It’s a track-and-field event. I did it as a kid. But I’m not tall and that limited my success. But it was fun.
Using Her Head: Have a lobotomy. I’m not a runner. My sister-in-law is about to run a marathon. I watch and admire her.
JAMES PRICE | Construction | Marina
A: I’d say golf. I play, but I’m lousy. It’s not just physical, it’s mental as well. If I was amazing, I’d go play Pebble Beach.
Plan, Man: I would have to set goals that are attainable and stay after them.
LILIA VASQUEZ | Hospitality | Seaside
A: I’d want to do one of those super-long soccer kicks. Being able to do that would mean my physical condition is good.
Slow and Steady: I’d have to train myself slowly, take it one mile at a time. And be careful of what I eat.
