Jackie Greene
The 31-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist/harpist who toured with Phil Lesh plays a mean harmonica…and was born in Salinas. He makes pit stops at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, and while Santa Cruz welcomes home Greene as its own local-boy-done-good when he plays the Catalyst, where are his props from the place of his birth? He played Carnegie Hall just this Tuesday, March 13—how about Sherwood Hall before the year’s end?
