We swear, we didn’t stuff the ballot box. Instead we stuffed you full of the best food and wine information in Monterey County. The readers who voted Edible Complex, the virtual foodie pirate ship led by Mark C. Anderson, as the best local blog, turn to it again and again for bites large and small. Anderson riffed on everything from the realities of life behind the farmers market curtain to some of the more curious Canadian symptoms of the pop-up craze. He got real in the Whole Foods parking lot and gave you the first looks into the James Beard Award-nominee Restaurant 1833, but never ignored the taco joints and Babaloo trucks. If Anderson could eat it, he did. More importantly for the reader, he wrote about it.
