Journey, Madonna and Katy Perry have all kind of appeared at the Brittania Arms as countless singers—both good and bad—have belted out these and other fan favorites for the last 12 years. “It’s about people who just enjoy singing,” says host Bobby Vegas. “This is a venue that is open to anyone…It is about confidence building.” The singing was so popular that a few years ago, the Brit added Tuesday to their schedule to make it three days a week—Wednesday and Sunday too—of classic anthems. “Everyone just has a blast,” says owner Paul Whitecross. “We have an anthem here with the staff where we sing ‘Champagne Supernova’ from Oasis.”
