What was your initial reaction to the Salinas High scandal?

Follow-up: How do you feel about the coverage it’s getting?

A: I graduated from Salinas High last year – I didn’t believe it at first because he worked with so many kids and was so well-liked.
Better to Know: It’s good that people are informed so that there is a smaller chance of something like that happening again.

A: It surprised me that something like that could happen so close to me.
Tough Love: Although it’s bad for the school district’s reputation, I think it’s important to spread the word. But his actions shouldn’t reflect the entire school.

A: I first saw it on Yahoo News, which is kind of scary because it’s big compared to local coverage. I was shocked.
Big Picture: I think people deserve to know what’s going on, but there are also a lot of important things happening right now.
