Street Talk 02.07.13 (Asked @ Chipotle in Monterey.)

What did you want to be when you grew up? what are you?

Follow-up: If you were going to start fresh, what would you do?

RODNEY RIDDLEBERGER |Semi-retired/Surfer | Salinas

A: I didn’t really want to be nothing. I worked for Monterey Sand Company for 18 years with my brother and dad.

Catch a Wave: I would make a living just to surf and enjoy life. I got three grandkids and I spend a ton of time with them.

MICHEL HERNANDEZ | Student | Seaside

A: I always wanted to be famous. For now, I’m studying dental assisting.

Call of the Wild: I would move to the wildlife because it looks less stressful and more peaceful and you’re surrounded by nature.

SAKURA TERUI | Student | Seaside

A: I wanted to be a doctor or a veterinarian. I’m doing my pre-reqs for nursing now, after being a stay-at-home-mom for eight years.

Get Ahead: I would have been more focused on my career goals.
