Follow-up: What nonprofit would you like to start?
CHUCK COOK | International Vice President | Petaluma
A: The only volunteer work I do is for political campaigns. The political stuff I do gives back to the community.
Nourishing: A food bank: “Community Food Bank.” I would tie it to my name, but I’m not that egotistical.
KRISTEN GONZALEZ | Server | Los Angeles
A: I give people high-end service. That’s my duty. Also, I spend time at the beach and hiking, and I pick up trash, and try to set a good example for young people like me.
Kid Play: A nonprofit dealing with sick, or inner-city children. “For The Children.”
TED FLYNN | Bartender | Seaside
A: Helping with the Thanksgiving Day feed at the Monterey Fairgrounds. I also try to help my friends and neighbors. I volunteer for the Big Sur Marathon, but lately I’ve been running in it.
Ruff Stuff: One helping animals find homes: “Homes For Four Legged Friends.”
