The four authors of Monterey Pine Forest Watch’s new book (L-R: Rita Dalessio, Joyce Stevens, Nicole Nedeff and David Bates) published the book as Pine Nut Press. “We always called ourselves the pine nuts,” Dalessio says. “It’s a term of endearment."
