19 E. Carmel Valley Rd., Carmel Valley

Located in Carmel Valley, California, the seven-acre Parsonage Village Estate Vineyard and Winery sits on a hillside bench some 500 feet above the Carmel River. The South-facing, chalk rock laden slope is 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 12.6 miles from Hwy 1 on Carmel Valley Rd. The vineyard is planted to Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

We are the Parsons Family and we named our wine Parsonage because the Parsonage is where the Parson and his family live!

Come and enjoy some of our wines on your next Camel Valley wine tasting.

*2008 Pinot Noir*

The ‘08 Pinot is a fine example of clonal diversity coming together in one wine. It is a blend of four different clones the Smith family grows on their SIP-certified sustainably farmed vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wine is youthful and approachable, with soft acidity and a juicy mid-palate with seamless transition. The focus is decidedly Burgundian, with flavors of cherry and raspberry. A wonderfully diverse food wine, this Pinot Noir goes with everything from grilled pork chops, to any kind of pizza, to a bowl of popcorn and a chunk of sharp cheddar! 38060 Paraiso Springs Road, off River Road, Soledad, (831) 658-0300, www.paraisovineyards.com
