Hi, oldguy49..Sounds about right...Want to call you attention to the filing that Mike Lawrence, Steve previous attorney, made to Judge Butler regarding the special fund that the BOS had set up for the DA's office to use for the Steve Collin's case...Very illegal, I am told..The Judge ignored this...Google: Hobbs Act: extortion by Force 2404 Under Color of Official Right... The FBI should come down hard on the DA's office if they prove this to be true, and in my opinion, there are some people in this County that should not be practicing law....What a shame....And it's all public money, yours and mine that they have used so wontedly...

Hi, oldguy49...I agree...Sounds like a good idea to me , too...The City of Salinas as well as Prunedale are certainly in need of a source of water, what with the nitrate and arsenic problems that Salinas is having now..And it's for sure, the governance of the whole thing won't run into the "herding cats in a bag" type situation that seems to plague the Peninsula every time they try to find a solution to their water problems...

Hi, oldguy49..You should have been a carpenter in your early days because once again you hit the nail right on the head regarding water quality...Pure BS and the $750,000...But, there is another little aspect that needs to be addressed regarding the Reclamation Ditch..A while back, someone discovered a Steelhead in that ditch, (endangered), and I'm sure the environmentalists, Fish and Game and gosh knows who else would be asking for a full blown EIR to pull any water out of that ditch..That would even cost more money and time, and on , and on, and on, and blah, blah, blah....

Hi oldguy49, you certainly have a total grasp of these miscreants and that their actions are above the law, as was evident in the charade in the so-called Slap-suit case in Court and the "conflicted" Judge they managed to find to preside...Do you realize that that Judge still works with Dave Potter on a Water Board presently?? He didn't declare that conflict at the time of the hearing...Isn't that strange???? So, yes..the move to the Attorney General would be a good idea, me thinks...
