Six of the seven abandoned puppies found at the Royal Oaks recycling facility in November have been put up for adoption by the SPCA for Monterey County.
A 25-year-old Seaside resident pleaded no contest to a felony cruelty to animal charge and is being held until his sentencing on Jan. 17, 2012.
