More discussion of commercials takes place yesterday and today than any other time all year, thanks to our annual obsession with Super Bowl advertising.
With the help of a man who has a bizarre, troubling and entertaining knack for finding goofy cultural artifacts on the Internet (Weekly photog Nic Coury), I can put to rest any debate over who has produced the best commerical campaign ever, or at least who has put together the best food related promo.
It may not have been created for the Super Bowl or even crafted in this country, but it's got crucial intangibles you don't see elsewhere: cheese, schmaltzy-but-spooky music and a violently unpredictable panda.
