Car Crashes into Loulou's in Monterey

Giving new meaning to take-out food, this week a driver took out LouLou's Griddle in the Middle (372-0568), crashing into its facade and several other parked cars before allegedly attempting to abscond.
I prefer to take out the fresh-berry pancakes ($7.95) or the crab-mushroom-jack cheese omelet ($10.95).
Actually, that's a lie. I enjoy eating there—the classic indoor bar or little booths are retro cozy and the outside tables enjoy sweeping views of Del Monte Beach.
The owners expect repairs to be done by next week.
