It's the bomber drone of commodes. The ninja of potties.
It's called The Stealth, and it uses less than a gallon of water per flush (as advertised in the Niagara brochure, pictured above). That's awesome even in the realm of high-efficiency toilets, which typically reduce flush volume from 1.6 to about 1.3 gallons.
"It's such a low flow rate for a toilet," says Levi Jimenez, one of the BuildingWise guys who will be using the brand-new, water-efficient beaut. "I'm a little nervous."
The Stealth addition to BuildingWise's remodeled bathroom is one of several upgrades earning LEED points for building improvements. Our Seaside office is also getting new sink aerators that reduce faucet flow from 2 to 0.375 gallons per minute.
More LEED points sprout from salvaged walnut flooring in the remodeled BuildingWise bathroom and fresh low-VOC paint in the BuildingWise atrium, Jimenez says. A new ceiling fan helps regulate indoor temperature—and keep bathroom stink stealthy.
