Cocktail Peanut Recall

Kraft Foods is asking consumers to check their 12 ounce canister of Planters cocktail peanuts before serving them at their NHL Stanley Cup Playoff viewing party.
The peanuts were possibly exposed to water that was not intended for human consumption. How the water made its way into the production process or what exactly made the water unfit for use in food is unknown.
Kraft is recalling all 12 ounce canisters of the peanuts with a code date: 09-Jan-14, UPC 2900007212.
