Salinas police have identified the badly burned body discovered in a flaming vehicle on Parkside Street Feb. 19.
Salinas resident Dominique Gachett, 27, was identified after an analysis of autopsy reports and dental records, according to a statement from the Salinas Police Department.
Police initially ruled the case suspicious, but have reclassified it as a suicide.
