Identifying politics with race is against the very principle of democracy. Pleasing a race just because it has a growing number of population so that the candidates can get more vote from the race is not the essence of democracy. Democracy does not mean rule by the majority of votes only, but it means rule by principle and wisdom. Sometimes truth does not lie in the majority.
