PHOTOS: Concours d'LeMons 2011

Some were rusted, some were shiny and brightly colored and some were frankenstein monstrosities with crazy engine parts and aesthetics.

Lemons car owners and fans of classically bad cars gathered at Laguna Grande Park on this past Saturday for the third annual Concours d'LeMons.

One owner, Verity Spencer, did not understand why her 1975 AMC Gremlin, which she bought for a mere $300, was considered a Lemon. She drives it everyday.

Many other owners drove their cars from around the state to Seaside for the gathering. Participants answered questions and laughed around their cars with fellow automobile geeks.
