PHOTOS: Lorenzo Leads Friday's Moto Grand Prix Practice

Dani Pedrosa rode his Repsol Honda to second fastest on Friday.
Defending world champion and winner of last year's US Moto Grand Prix Jorge Lorenzo sped to the top of the time sheets on Friday afternoon with a fastest lap of 1'22.056 around the twisty twelve-turn track in Monterey.
Fellow Spaniard to Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa who won the USGP in 2009 was second fastest with his Repsol Honda teammate, Australia's Casey Stoner, rounding out the top 3, all of whom have won at Laguna in the MotoGP class.
Top American rider was Ben Spies' on the factory Yamaha in fifth position.
