Salinas-native blues rockers The Mystery Lights packed a full house at East Village Coffee Lounge on Saturday night.
Complete with a fog machine, the foursome played lighting-fast rock and had everyone dancing as typically happens during their shows.
A few sets earlier, a local music legend sat behind a drumset to play his first show in nearly 30 years.
Bob Gamber, who has owned Monterey's Vinyl Revolution record store on Lighthouse avenue since 1994, played with 1960s fuzzed-out, psychedelic rock trio The Tomb Weavers. For many Monterey kids, Gamber's shop offered up a glimpse into rock and roll.
