People watch marine life swim through the Outer Bay tank.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a lot to offer. For over 25 years, endless exhibits have helped educate visitors on marine life and now the Aquarium is giving more back to its local base.

Announced this morning, the Aquarium is offering three more ways for locals in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties to enjoy the exhibits beyond their annual community open house in December.

Between now and March 27, locals applying for a membership get two free months of benefits and a free preview of the new Life on the Edge exhibit, which opens March 18.

From April 4 to May 27, locals get $5 off when visiting after 3pm.

After 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays between July 2 and September 4, locals pay $25 per adult, $20 per senior or student. and $15 per child.

Visit the Aquarium's website for more information.
