It's a good shared thought among fellow humans: if you're life was a movie what would the soundtrack be when you're driving on the road? Walking down the street? How about camping under the stars? Boutique concert runners (((folkYEAH!))) has an answer to the latter. This camping weekend headlines with noise pop dream makers, Yo La Tengo. But most good soundtracks have more than one artist. This one includes solo acts by Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee, Sachiko Kanenobu and Lia Ices and William Tyler. But good campers can also retreat for al while both days into the tavern and indulge in Farmer Dave & the Wizards of the West, Mattson 2 and Vinyl Williams. And yes, it comes with the (((folkYEAH!))) sticker price, but this wondrous and soul-filling weekend raises funds for Big Sur Health Clinic. And remember, this is Big Sur, please share the road and your cars headed over there. (Parents note, all concert-goers must be at least 13 years old). [MA]
