Santa Claus is coming to town—downtown Pacific Grove, that is, rain or shine, for an early holiday appearance. He’ll be riding on the back of a flatbed truck festooned with twinkling lights and accompanied by elves—in this case students from Pacific Grove Middle School—as part of the 18th Annual Parade of Holiday Lights on Lighthouse Avenue. Joining Santa in the lineup will be marching bands, equestrian groups, dance troops, drummers, floats and even more holiday displays wrapped in lights to get local crowds in the holiday spirit. After the parade stores will be open for early holiday shopping. Santa’s fans are invited to visit with the Jolly Old Elf at P.G. Juice N Java for photos. [PM]
