Yes, it's a new decade, but and a lot has happened. But what about in the last 250 years? Wharf Walks continue and this time they're looking back at the Wharf and its neighboring areas 250-year history. This means remembering the beginning of the Monterey Bay's history when Rumsien/Ohlone People were scraping the shores for abalone and rockfish, exploring the industrious sardine industry that nearly decimated the population and ending in the present-day, when the Bay is thriving off of tourism. This tour is suitable for ages 10 and over. Tours meet at the pink Harbor House.
