Bassist Dan Robbins has been a teacher in Monterey Jazz Festival’s Traveling Clinician program since 2001. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for “Outstanding Service to Jazz Education” at the Monterey Jazz Festival in 2000. He plays every musical genre imaginable on the acoustic and the four, five, six and seven string electric bass. Robbins played with The Monterey All-Stars at the 50th Monterey Jazz Festival.
