Mortero de Piedra is a tool that the Aztecs used to grind and mix food. Taking their name from the instrument, the Salinas group of the same name mixes punk, ska, rock and traditional Mexican folk musics to create their sound. They also pay tribute to Latin rock guitar god Santana by covering "Black Magic Woman" and "Oyo Como Va."
