The Blues had a baby, and they named it Rock and Roll!  Rhythm, bass, lead, harmonica and drums complete SilverTrain, a blues rock group formed in 2014 and based in the Salinas Valley area of Monterey Bay. With Jim Smith's melodic rhythms, Mike Clark's driving bass, Greg Gomez's soaring leads, Rick Zuniga's haunting harmonic riffs and Tom Duncan's syncopation on the kit, the band plays a unique mix to create a sound that is all its own, a sound that respects the tradition of the blues but also pushes it's contemporary bounds. The stage show includes tastefully mixing a dash of reggae, a splash of country, a cup of blues and a big spoonful of rock and roll ... keeping people on their feet and having fun!
