Street Talk:

Q: WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM THESE DAYS?

Follow-up: What’s your favorite comfort food?

TROY SIMONS | Realtor | Pacific Grove

A: My number one problem these days is keeping my six kids in line. Just the other day one of my kids wrecked my Ford Explorer. All he was supposed to do was go to Carl’s Jr. and back home. Just another one of life’s fender benders.

I Scream: Strawberry Haagen-Dazs ice cream is my weakness.

KAY COLLINS | Homemaker | Salinas

A: About a month ago a very dear friend was killed in the war in Iraq. It can be very hard for those overseas to handle and has been a problem which hits home for me and many other families, I’m sure.

Sweet Tooth: A good old banana split calms my soul.

MATT DAVIS | Window Cleaning | Salinas

A: Hospital bills have been a problem for me these days—they just keep seeming to pile up.

On the Rocks: Does Jack and Coke count as a comfort food? If not, then I’d say ice cream Dips.
