As far back as the 1960’s, Jerry Lohr was scouring the region, trying to find areas where he could plant grapes. From Arroyo Seco to Paso Robles and throughout the area, J Lohr has built itself into an internationally distributed wine producer that has led this appellation’s progress across the wine scene. From the very limited J Lohr Cuvee Series down through its Vineyard Series, Estates wines, plus offshoots Crosspoint Vineyards, Cypress Vineyards, Painter Bridge and Ariel de-alcoholized wines, ole Jerry seems to have found what he was looking for.
